Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist will support IT teams in designing, piloting, and implementing a robust software quality assurance review process. This role will work closely with development teams to ensure applications meet quality standards and are ready for production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the end-to-end software testing lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with the QA Manager and project teams
  • Define and contribute to quality goals, metrics, and best practices
  • Develop and execute:
    • Test plans
    • Test cases and scripts (manual & automated)
  • Perform testing across:
    • Development, QA, and staging environments
    • Application updates, patches, and bug fixes
  • Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts
  • Conduct test case reviews to validate business functionality coverage
  • Identify, track, and resolve defects in coordination with stakeholders
  • Support production readiness and release cycles
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated testing frameworks
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in testing IT products and applications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
    • Selenium (Page Object Model)
    • MS Visual Studio with C#
    • End-to-end test automation
    • Converting manual test cases to automation
  • Experience with:
    • Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
    • Test case review and validation processes
    • Azure Application Insights for logging and tracking issues
    • Agile/Scrum environments
    • CRUD testing
  • Strong scripting/development skills in C#
Highly Desired Skills
  • Experience with Docker (test automation in cloud environments)
  • PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Experience with SpecFlow (BDD framework)
  • Experience with Splunk for reporting and data analysis
Work Schedule
  • Hybrid (Onsite every 3rd day)
  • Standard business hours
Additional Notes
  • Must be comfortable with in-person interview (final round)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required
  • Experience in government/public sector projects is a plus
